Winter Sports Preview
Boys Basketball: This year, Boys Basketball is going to look better than ever, coming off one of the best seasons they have had in the last 15 years. Junior Guard Lucas Stevens, who averaged 17 PPG in league play and earned Second Team All-League Honors, is ready to put up a monster season. Juelz Terry is also ready to have a breakout senior campaign.
Boys Wrestling: Last year, the boys ended off with a dual meet against Davis High School and lost 48-17, But their top wrestler, Aaron Chavez, had a season-ending injury right before Districts and is ready and healthy to come back. Victor Mejia took 2nd in districts, did well in regionals, and is prepared to wrestle and go to state this year. We have a freshman, Jerick Dobbie, who did really well at Pasco camp this summer. He is ready to get to work and has a bright future ahead of him.
Girls Wrestling: Last year, the girls lost 60-24 to Davis High School. This year, they plan to have some of their top wrestlers compete for state. Miranda Marquez is ready to take the next step, hopefully, win state, and bring it home this year.
