Founded in 1957

The Five Star Journal is a student written, student run, and student published newspaper.

Eisenhower High School’s Five Star Journal has been in continuous publication, in print and online, since 1957. We are so proud to be the stewards of this journalistic staple of the Yakima Valley.

Each month we release a new issue, printing and distributing 1,000 copies to our students with the help of The Yakima Herald Republic’s print division. We also publish online and update our students with current news via social media.
