Anxiety: STOP!
Having anxiety is a hard thing to deal with, and having anxiety in school is even worse. As a person with anxiety all the time, it is hard, but there are some ways to prevent having so much anxiety, especially in school.
We need to think positively of ourselves. Make sure you tell yourself that today is going to be a good day and today is going to be better. Walking the halls for you is nerve-racking like eyes are on you, and next thing you know, you're thinking, “Maybe I look bad today” or “Maybe something about you isn’t right.” Well, let me tell you, nobody is looking (I mean that in the best way possible). It is all just in your head. So push away those negative thoughts and try to go on with your day.
I know it is hard to think positively of yourself and the things you do or the things you like, but remember that you are special, and you have meaning and purpose. High school will end eventually, so make sure you have no regrets, and when you look back, you won’t think, “Wow, I spent so much time thinking about what others thought of me.” So be yourself, and don’t let anxiety ruin your life. Do things that make YOU happy and bring you joy.
