Ike Follies: Spring 2024

Follies, the old Hollywood glamor version, was a major success! Follies is an event where multiple IKE students and groups get to show their talent through singing, dancing, and whatever their specialty is. The amazing fundraiser is put on by the Eisenhower choir or, more specifically, their officers, who are an amazing group of high school kids who work day and night to put this performance together. This particular follies event was held on May 3rd in the Eisenhower Auditorium. Eisenhower normally has 2 follies a year where IKE students and staff can show us what they got!

This particular follies theme was old Hollywood glamor, so students came in their best suits and ties and their best dresses with gorgeous heels. If older music isn’t what you normally go for, that’s ok. Our Eisenhower cadets gave us a wide range of music genres, and our insanely talented house band never stopped impressing us. What also impressed us was how incredibly funny this group of students is. Any time there was a mistake, they handled it perfectly, and they always took the opportunity to make the audience laugh.

With all of this included, The Eisenhower choir wanted to give one huge shout-out to Arissa Flinkfelt for organizing and hosting this year's spring follies! So, thank you if you came to support our amazing choir and if you didn’t this time there is always next fall!
