How did bowling impact you as a person?
Starting to bowl my freshman year was an extremely impactful decision of mine. I’ve found bowling to help me make so many connections with people I didn’t know. I find myself to not only have improved in bowling throughout my four years but also have grown close with many new people from the team. It has made me more confident putting myself out there and making new friendships.
How have the people impacted you?
I started my bowling career with my friend Joely. She and others have impacted me so much throughout these years by teaching me to bowl and work on improving my skills. They make me not afraid to reach out to ask for help with my skills, and even other issues. They have forever made an impact in my life.

I started bowling my freshman year at Eisenhower.
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is most likely being able to improve quickly within my few years of bowling. I went from teaching myself my form and walk-up to feeling confident enough to choose which boards will help me convert my spares.

How did bowling impact you as a person?
Even though I may not have been bowling long there are so many ways it has impacted me as a person. Through many eyes bowling may not seem like a big deal however for me and a lot of use on this team it showed us how it feels to have fun but also what a family outside of home feels like. A place to get away from the stress and the frustrations, but a place that you know will always be there for you. It gave me something to look forward to on a daily basis no matter what I was doing, and no matter what it will always be that way for me.
How have the people impacted you?
The people I met within bowling impacted me as a person by showing me all the fun and connections you could make just by learning how to throw a ball. It may not seem like a big deal to most people. However since joining bowling I've had so much fun and made new friends and bonds that probably wouldn't have been possible without being there. Everyday I step into a practice new memories to create with all these amazing people and I will always cherish them.
How long have you been bowling?
This will be my first year bowling with Ike and sadly the last. Sometimes it may seem boring, but you always end up smiling no matter what. I'm sad I won't be able to keep playing for this school going on but I'm glad I got the chance to play this year.
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement in bowling as of now is almost hitting a 300 series. I haven't got there just yet but for me being new to this its a great achievement and will further push myself to make it that far and hopefully farther.

How did bowling impact you as a person?
Bowling has really changed my mentality a lot. When I became the anchor on the JV1 team two years ago, I put a lot of pressure on myself and often felt I wasn't good enough. It took the fun out of the game and was exhausting sometimes. With the help of Coach Mundell and Quesnell, I have learned to relax, have fun, and be coachable. Now, I enjoy bowling a lot more and don’t stress as much, which has taught me valuable lessons for facing future challenges; on and off the lanes.
How have the people impacted you?
Joining the IKE girl's bowling team in my freshman year gave me a sense of belonging and sisterhood. The supportive and welcoming nature of my teammates helped me gain confidence and comfort. Despite being an introvert, I have made lots of friends and have unlocked many personal qualities like vulnerability, confidence, pride, influence, and a sense of family. I know I wouldn't be who I am today without these girls.
How long have you been bowling?
I was on the girl's bowling team in 6th and 7th grade. At Eisenhower, I've bowled all 4 seasons
What is your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement would be my time as a varsity member. I would have never guessed I would have made either this far; a full-time varsity member and captain who has gone to districts twice, is anchoring varsity, and is working towards going to state. My journey has been emotional, but I wouldn't change it for the world. I'm grateful for all the opportunities and the support from the girls, coaches, and my dad.
