Ike Bowling Rolls to State
The bowling team finished their regular season with a league record of 8-4 and an overall record of 12-4. They were 3rd place in the league. The Cadets accomplished so much this season. They had the highest single game at 963 as well as also having the highest baker game at 209 in the Big 9 League this season. Ike is the only team that has defeated the district champs, the Eastmont Wildcats.
The Cadets had their entire Varsity make it onto the Big 9 list:
Big 9 All-League Honorable Mention: Jaidyn Spelts (10), Ashley Lombness (12), Joely Ostler (12)
Big 9 Second Team Honors: Cece Peugh (9), Stormie Tabayoyon (11)
The Big 9 sent three teams to State: Eastmont, Wenatchee, and Eisenhower. They also sent six individuals from Moses Lake, Sunnyside, and West Valley. The Cadets placed 3rd as a team, with Joely Ostler placing 4th as an individual.
The Cadets took to the lanes at Bowlero in Tukwila for State. Three of the girls placed top 20 in the state:
Cece Peugh (9) placed 17th with 1022 pins, Joely Ostler (12) placed 14th with 1046 pins, and Stormie Tabayoyon (11) placed 12th with 1051 pins. The Columbia Basin Big 9 had two girls place. The Cadets finished individuals in 5th place as a team with 4771 pins. Ike took 7th place at the end of the bakers with 6794 pins. They played a total of 6 individual games and 14 baker games. This is the 5th consecutive year Eisenhower has gone to state.
