ENHYPEN in Tacoma!

Following their successful US tour, FATE, Washington eagerly hosts ENHYPEN’s encore tour, FATE PLUS, in Tacoma! Concluding their US tour last October, the seven-member South Korean boy group swiftly announced encore tour dates, including additional shows in Asia. To fans' delightful surprise, they later announced the new stops for their American encore tour, hitting cities like Anaheim, Oakland, Tacoma, Rosemont, and Belmont.

ENHYPEN, comprising of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Niki, rocked the Tacoma Dome on Sunday, April 28th, with its 21,000-seat capacity. Notably, Jay, originally from Tacoma but raised in Seattle before moving to South Korea at 9, found the homecoming deeply meaningful. Joined by his six brothers, Jay's return resonated not only with fellow Washingtonians, dubbed ENGENE's, but also with himself, warmly embraced by supportive fans.

The boy group performed at the Tacoma Dome on Sunday April 28th with a capacity of 21,000 seats. As someone who attended and got to see Jay happily performing with his brothers, I can confirm that the crowds were huge and, although it was a very chaotic time spent waiting to enter the dome, everyone never failed to stop cheering and singing throughout the whole show. During the concert, the members mentioned that this was their biggest venue out of all their US Fate Plus stops! It was truly an incredible experience for both fans and the members.

Aside from the unforgettable and beautiful memory made that night, three of the members, Niki, Heeseung, and Jay himself attended the Seattle Mariners baseball game the following Monday night to throw out the first pitch. As baseball fans, the members were all extremely excited to be there and even had the honor of meeting former baseball player, Ichiro Suzuki! To add on top of all that, in that special moment, lifelong Mariners fan and Seattle native Jay was surprised by a special video message on the scoreboard from former Mariners player, Jay Buhner, whom he was named after. In an interview with the Seattle Times, Jay said, “I went there a lot as a child, but I don’t remember a lot of specific Mariners memories,” says Park. “It’s really exciting for this to be my first time there as an ENHYPEN member so I can create a new ‘first’ memory.” In his youth, Jay had always gone to many Mariners games and since his family and himself were hardcore fans, it was truly a momentous occasion that will be engraved in his, the members, and fans' hearts forever.

As the ENHYPEN members pinky promised the fans during the concert, we will look forward to seeing you return to Tacoma one day!
