Haunting Hours: Union Gaps Corn Maze

The Union Gap corn maze kicked off its haunting season on October 4th, going from 7 PM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. The maze is a long, winding, and incredible path across 13 acres of pure corn!

Some stalks are long, some short, green, tan, all types! There are around 15 haunters per night, give or take. There are wanderers, simple haunters, and even people with chainsaws! Each haunter is unique in their own way with how they scare you, even me!

This was my first job, and it was one of the most fun experiences I’ve had in a long, long time!

And if being scared isn’t your style, they have food, drinks, some cozy fires to warm up to, and even hay rides to show you around! The hours are long, cold, and tedious. It’s all worth it in the end, especially when visiting with friends and family!

No matter what turn, you’re usually bound to get lost one way or another. Heck, I got lost on my first day! But don’t fret; security is always there to help lost individuals in the maze. The overall experience is something I personally recommend going to, and there’s always going to be next October to visit! Even not during the haunting hours, the maze is a wonderful experience with smiling faces and a non-haunted maze, as well as food, fun, and more! Even if those faces get scared later in the evening, don’t be afraid to stop on by next year!
